New toys

Post by Whitey »

Finally got around to posting a few pics of the newest members of the gang

The Maraude r.25 is quite a nice rifle. Mags are very muc like Rapid mags and function well. Ordered a HDD from Airguns of Arizona and installed it. Stops hammer bounce and waste of air. Pushes the shot count out to 25-30 shots.

Took the TX200 ratting the other night and got about 30. It was just so accurate. My favourite springer by far.

And the FX Cyclone .22 which I have had for awhile. This really is an all round package.

Hi Whitey,
Very nice line up mate! As a matter of interest what weight .177 pellet are you shooting and what MV/FPE is the TX producing?
I have my eye on a TX at the mo and it also is a .177.
Cheers,
Ray

Thanks guys.
Ray, I use JSB heavies but I don't have a chrony. It is the best springer I have had. The fit, feel and performance are spot on. Get one Ray, I would be surprised if you didn't like it. I think I will try a Vortek kit in it. I have had HW97's in .22 and .20 and they were good but this is way ahead in my opinion. Not trying to offend HW97 owners by the way.
The FX is very mild especially on low power. The Marauder on the other hand is loud.

I like the idea of the marauda in .25 cal Brendan. What's it shoot like? I've been reading lots of good things about them, they certainly seem like pretty darn good value!!!!

I can personally vouch for the Tx guys. It is without doubt the smoothest springer I've ever shot! Damned accurate too!
