Just rebarrel the 25/06 as a 270 mate, you know you want to :D

BTW - nice Ruger you have just bought. Seems to have a decent bit of timber. :bang:

Finally picked it up yesterday and it looks like it should go OK. Just need to do something with the trigger or head to the gym to build up the arm strength to pull it :?

Didn't seem so bad when Andrew and I had a go. :twisted: Isn't it the new adjustable type one? Perhaps a little time with a screwdriver would pay dividends? You don't want much lighter than 3lb anyway on that rifle.

It has the LC6 trigger which is non adjustable by a clubfisted monkey like myself :( I will see how it goes but may look at a new spring for it to get the weight of pull down; I would like it around the 2 1/2 - 3 lb mark.
