6.52X47 L
The other day I was having a yarn to a fellow member about rifles, wildcats and other shit when all of a sudden I thought of a new wildcat.This is so radical I doubt anyone has done it yet.This new cartridge would be a 6.5x47L necked to .257 with no other changes.Do you think I can name it maybe a Jab 25

back in 2010 on 6br they were already building 25x47 lapua improved cartridges

Whilst the 6.35x47mm Lapua case is likely to perform somewhat like a stiff loaded 250 Savage (100gn @ 2950fps), the original 6.5x47 case will throw a 120gn bullet @ 3000fps.

Why do you want to build an obscure wildcat that you cannot buy over the counter ammo.Even the 25/06 is outdated with limited ammo supply just go and buy a Howa 243.
