A google docs site could be used to manage this. All the record keepers could have access to upload results from each shoot as a lot do on ausvarmint now. Could be Australian Long Range Bench Rest Records or something. Seems most are doing it in spreadsheets so would be easy I would think to collaborate. Maybe a standard file name to make it easy to find certain shoots records eg 2011_Townsville_November etc THe docs site can include a calender so all shoots can be put on it in once nice and easy place for anyone to view.

Thanks Ryan , You have just proved it is not hard for someone with computer knowledge to record stuff when you have the desire and ability.. Townsville's reults will always be up there for all to see the next morning after each match ..JR..Jeff Rogers

Jeff and others I am happy to upload results under my account if you wish.

I will separate the 1000yd and Fly and 550 yd if you want me too or if you want to create another account it would be easy.

Create a gmail account for AusLRBR or something and utilise that as I have done here.

Just had a thought how about I create auslrbr@gmail.com

From here I can and can allow others to upload results and a calendar I think, if not I will do it on a 'when I have time' basis or I can set it up and show write a how-to for those who will have access to edit.

Mick, i think you and others are missing the point. Townsville will never be eligible for any records as we technically do not shoot to the current NRAA rule book. We never have and we never will until such time that we become an NRAA club. The records will be derived from Canberra, Brisbane, Murray Bridge and Narromine. Then there is the rest, those clubs and matches shot outside of the NRAA, eg Townsville and Atherton. The only Records Townsville is legitamately able to claim is the SSAA records as our rules preside there.
This is a nowhere arguement and is an exact duplication of what exists in the US. All have their seperate records under each sanction, and then there is a group that talk of "World Records", those being the smallest marks set across all sanctions. It is just talk and has no legitimacy.

You yourself will be the official record holder of the six match group aggregate if i have my figures right. Anyones guess who will be the HG record holder.
