Best scope for a 6br
What would be a good choice in scope for a 6mm Br. Neally all my shooting is done btw 100-300yards. Whats everyones thoughts???
Re: Best scope for a 6br
Chris,
Assuming you are shooting benchrest, you will find it hard to beat either a 35x or 45x Leupold. If you are using it to shoot critters, then a good quality variable would be my choice.

Best scope for a 6br
Nightforce is the go.
Re: Best scope for a 6br
Nothing wrong with the nightforce, I use a BR 10-42 on my 1000yd gun but, you may want to look at weight if you wish to shoot certain styles within BR. If weight is an issue, use the leupold, if not, nightforce is good, if you can afford it.

For the money an old plain jane T36 is pretty good.

Sightron SIII 8-32x56 target model. 1/8 dot reticle on fine crosshair and 1/8 MOA click adjustments. Love mine.

Chris I know what you mean but even when I have had that option I have never wound the power down at least not on the rimfire at 50 and 100.Chriswillis696 wrote:Funny u say that i have an t36 in my safe doin nothing. Another alternative is the Sightron 10-50X. It is lighter than the nightforce, has good optics, 1/8th clicks and target knobs

Would be interesting with the 10-50 power Rod.
FWIW yes the sightron adjustments are tue and very dependable. Worked very well over here today.

Been researching the 10x50 for a fellow shooter, seems* 4scopes.com * is about as good as it gets at US$968.. PayPal is also the best method of payment ,pricewise ..JR..Jeff Rogers
