See a brief report of the Brisbane Queens on Ten News. We don't often get positive stories in the media so this is good.
Some who frequent this forum dislike fullbore and think there is only one type of competition but to get coverage on national news is good for all shooters.

Great to see such un-biased reporting for a change, with none of the usual garbage from the minority whingers. Nothing about noise polution, carbon emitted or lead poisoning the ground.
It will show alot of the undecided that shooting sports are a great way for mates to get togeather and enjoy a day out, Good effort CH10.

I was present at Belmont Rifle Range when the item was recordered. It was the 150th. year celebrations of the Queensland Rifle Association held in conjunction with their Queens prize meeting. The Govener of Queensland [Penelope Wensley] was the Special Guest and officially launched a book on the history of the Q.R.A. and she also opened their new Museum.The QRA has a very good relationship with both the press and polititions. The govener is the Patron and 8 members of parlement are listed as Vice Patrons including Kevin Rudd. The Belmont Rifle Shooting Complex is considered to be the best shooting facility in the world and is worth a visit. It will host the World Long Range Championships and the Palma Teams Match in October.
