Schedule of events?

Hi all,

Is there posted anywhere a schedule of events for the range at Little River?
I would like to get along and watch a 500m Fly match and find out more about it and how it operates. Then I'll have some idea of what more I have to do once I've got the rifle in my hot little hands. I may need a spotting scope, front rest and rear bag.......not to mention a pay rise!

22 sept. is next Fly Shoot.. just its at Canberra. They will have a club Fly Shoot before hand maybe.. check with Peter Van Meurs.

G'day Dave,
the melbourne BR club's next fly shoot at little river is July 15 with a 9am start time and the 19th Aug is the club Heavy Varmint championships same 9am start time.

The club has practice scheduled as a rule for the first Sat of every month and comp's on the 3rd sunday as a general rule. Contact Peter Van Meurs (MBC President) at Pro-Cal Trading for details of events

G'Day Dave,
there is no garuantee that there is organised practice, just that members can use that day for practice. Sometimes organised matches occur on that day as well.

According to the MBC calendar of events, the following program is scheduled:

July 15th............500m fly
Aug 19th............100/200 HV BR
Sept 16th ..........RF 50m & AGM
Oct 21st.............500m fly
Nov 3rd..............RF 50m
Dec 1st..............novelty event & BBQ

My work is going to be a problem I see. I work 2 out of 4 weekends but I'll make it happen so I can have a shoot and meet some members.
