I did that with my 12g, then got him to drive me to the airport. He didnt bat an eyelid, but did tell me how he was shot in Lebanon (had the scars too and apparently the bullet still in his head) prior to deciding to emigrate to Australia. Good bloke all round.

G'day guys in the west, you're not the only ones that have troubles, I put one in for new c/f and it took 32 days from date of post, then three weeks later put in another and it only took 9 days. Yhey arrived within two days of each other. Makes you shake your head in wonder what the hell goes on. :?:

Got it home, now to find out what it likes to eat...

Got Winchester Super X CPX1 80 grain
Highland AX 90 Grain and
Federal Power Shock 100 Grain
All in Soft Point no one had any V Max in any flavour must be due to the end of financial year & no-one wanted to hold stock to count.
See how it prints on paper

Very nice mate. I only got to handle mine and put it back in the rack. Though the 10 shot and 5 shot mags arrived. Some other guys are bringing me some 155gr sierras and 155gr HBC's tomorrow to try out.

palla,
im glad you got your pta but the time frame is bloody ridiculous, I had one for a remington .308 the gunshop applied on line at 2.00pm and rang me at 10am the next day and told me it was approved less than 24 hrs , my last one for my barnard took 3 days.

Wow, thats a great result in turn around time. Not sure what the deal is here, some people say WA stands for Wait Awhile.
Appears to be the case.

I'll see if I can get some photos up today sometime.
