Hey Brad

I have been looking for an M85 action over here in NSW and found a dealer who has them in right and left action only for 395 I think thats posted anywhere in aus. They are 222/223 bolt face only.

just thought I would pass it on.

Great to hear. Beretta must have changed their tune and brought in some LH actions in the latest shipment. Shame I have already built a walkaround varminter on a LH R700.

PM Adamjp as he has used an 85 action to build a 6ppc and it feeds from the mag.

I had a little trouble with my 6mm PPC, but some work with the file on the magazine follower yesterday sorted it out. The extractor problem I reported turned out to be a problem with how the rifle was barreled and has nothing to do with the action supplied by Zastava. In fact I know one other person who has a similar problem with a rifle of different brand done by the same smith.

They don't feed as well as the 223 cases, but they do feed well enough. Strangely, the 6.5 Grendel case (longer body) feeds better.

The extractor issue is a simple assembly issue and was simple to rectify.

As MISSED said, they are like an early L461 Sako. The polish is good, but the internal finish is not as smooth. There are a few things you can do to make then quite slick in operation.

For the price they are a great way to build a 223 or PPC sized custom rig.

Another is the CZ527, but the clip magazine is not pretty, nor is the bolt handle.

Any specific questions, please ask.
