lovely!

use rem 7 1/2 br primers, between 27.something and 28gns of 2206h(start around 27.2 and go up in .2) and 39gn sbks and go for your life

Nice rifle mate in a cal that you will enjoy and the foxes won`t.I very nearly bought one for Mrs Missed but the scope height and low cheekpiece made it hard for her to get a good sight picture. The trigger was bloody awful ex factory with more creep than a Kings Cross night club.It was an easy fix a couple of minutes on google and a bit of tool time had it very very nice.
My choice would be for 32 grain projies launched as fast as you can.(28 grains of 2206h is a good start point)Sighted 1 inch high at 100m will put you on fur with no hold over out to 300m.In fact apart from the wind most of the shots I have seen miss are overs rather than unders Splatter effect is rather dramatic.

Saw a mate's for the first time about two weeks ago. I wanted the same in .223 but Winchester Australia don't import them.

A tidy unit and will be very capable for your purpose!

Welcome to the club 17hmr

You wont regret the 204.

In the CatKiller I use 27.8gn 2206H, 39gn Sierra Blitzkings, Prepped remington brass and CCI BR-4 Primers. Off a bench this gives me consistant 11mm groups at 200m.

Like Trev said just about any load from 27.2 up to 28 will give you good accuracy, this is a very forgiving cartridge for the hand loader

I like that Paul very nice great choice of Rifle calibre and spotlight my only suggestion would be to give 220 a yell and grab one the BR Harris Bipods He has on special at the moment. As Trevort will tell you these shorter leg bipods are awesome when your shooting over the bonnet.

Not to sure of the dove tail width for your mount but I know on the old ZKW465 has a 5/8 and I used Tikka T3 mounts they look to be higher than the ones you have now. Welcome to the Terrific 20's I had not ran the barrel in on my tact 20 and was in love and now looking at a 20 PPC to stretch a bit further. I think I will sell my 220 swifts and 223.

Ive got a set of CZ rings here, are yours standard size. I can give you a measurement from the bottom of the lower ring to base.

andrew, the rifle came with the loopy rings (25mm), but i threw a 30mm vortex it, hence new rings.
