PTA is in for my new bang stick!

Post by palla »

I have gone for a Savage Weather Warrior in .243 left hand, cos Im a southpaw, mollydooka & any other names you have for us lefties.

Application went into licensing on Friday 10th June, according to the website it can take upto 30 days!

How long will my Firearms Application take?
The current processing times for the following firearm applications apply:

Original Firearms applications = approximately 60 days

Additional Firearms applications = approximately 30 days

The challenge has been set & accepted.....

I fly out on Tuesday 21st so will have to rely on the missus to tell me when the letter arrives.

Hehe, that would be funny, get the taxi driver to go home via the LGS to collect.

"Yeah mate, just wait here 5 mins just need to pop into the shops to grab something."

Still not finished yet being sent away to get re-blued hope to have it back in 2-3 weeks then the games will begin. Still need to chase up another full length sizing die the smith could not get the shell out of the other one and didn't want to use the reamer on it in case he damaged it. :D

Well, Im kinda hoping mine will come this week too, which is the old school 14 day wait time but the website still says 30 days so Im not holding my breath.

Where am I getting it from?

If you have a keen eye you might notice a business card in the pic, not sure if Im breaking forum rules, if I am it is not intentional. Good guys down there.

They had a little trouble fitting the bases for my scope, did some research, something about the new accutrigger rounded bit. They will sort it out.

Surely i wouldnt think so.

Heres mine- we finished it tonight just waiting for the extra AI mags as well. Its a LH remington SPS varmint in 308. I get all my stuff locally at southwest firearms and gunsmithing or in perth at claremont firearms.

Mcmillan bakers special
http://www.mcmfamily.com/mcmillan-stock ... v=branch4a
scroll down to it. We inletted it to fit the CDI bottom metal for AI mags. Feeds nice and best of all holding it freehand standing or sitting, the 10 round mag makes a nice grip to hold onto. Ive only got two 5 shot mags at the moment but will order a 10 later on.
