John,

I have no doubt that some batches of bullets shoot better than others. I do think that the variation is often not that much between batches(real world) although some are just terrible.

You can have the best batch of bullets ever made and still score badly, how you drive them has a lot to do with the result you get and you drove them very well.

I shot the 123 Scenars out of my 6.5X47L... very accurate... no problem... then I have also shot Sierra seconds with large ogive variation, they were not sorted, and they shot as good as anything else I shot as well.

It was great shooting on the sunday in the rimfire, I was stoked with my 6th place. Well done to ozeant for a great shoot.

I'll be back next year and I'll bring the mark for the centre fire aswell :rifle:
