It’s a very old 2nd hand Remington 700 ADL stock, the timber is extremely dense and it was in a high gloss finish, it was in need of a tidy up, the checkering is actually stamped into the timber and the butt plate is original. The previous owner thinks it’s 30+yrs old.
I did the work myself which included inletting the action with a Remington Varmint contour barrel and shaping the palm relief just behind the pistol grip I made a set of contoured aluminium pillars and bedded it using Devcon. Finished it off in boiled linseed oil and beeswax.

Nice work steve, love the old style oil finish. The barrel inletting looks good to, very neat.
