Just out of interest, what will yours be used for? Competition shooting in Sydney I hope? If you decided to go with its ballistic equivelant, a 6.5WSSM, you could use my reamer.

RDavies,
Tell me more. I have a 338 wssm reamer for sale at the moment from PT&G.
What rifle did you use. Photos please. What projectiles are you using and how do they feed and fit in the wssm mag?
I love wssm wildcats.
Cheers

Re: Sydney gunsmith with 260AI reamer
The rifle 6.5WSSM is a custom F Class target rifle with a Barnard singleshot action, Ken McLachlan aluminium stock, March 10-60X scope, currently chambered in 284.(reamer due any day now)
I havent taken any photos of the rifle with the new Aluminium stock, but will try to get one emailed to you soon.
I think the 260AI would be a better choice for a hunting rifle as I think it would feed more reliably. Also you can fit more 260AI rounds in a magazine, plus a choice of dozens of suitable actions. Plasmaboy. How did you get on with Shane Clancy? Does he have a reamer?
I know an F class shooter in Sydney who uses a 260AI very well out to 800M. If need be I can get more info for you.

Yes Shane has a reamer he chambered my 260AI LG which shoots rather well. Best group at 1k is just over 4 inches and picked up smallest group at the Federal Cup last March with a 1.5 at 500MRDavies wrote:I know an F class shooter in Sydney who uses a 260AI very well out to 800M. The 260AI will IMHO out perform a 6.5-284 when built on a custom action and loaded correctly.
