Hi Native.

I will be there, like you I am only shooting IRB and traveling home on Sunday. I will be at the range Thursday lunch for practice and am staying at the QRA.
I am ready have shot a few 250s in practice, just need to put 6 good targets together.

G"Day Brett,
I am yet to shoot a 250.!!
It will be just for experience for me,mind you i think ive only probably shot less than 20 RBA targets in total.
Ill be trying to beat my personal best of 249.15.!!

The wind at Belmount can be real tough, I don't expect too many 250's to be shot.

Shoot 6 cards better than 246 and you will be right up there is my guess.

Yeah, I'll be there for the IRB and the custom group shoot.
We rarely shoot rimfire down here so I am a bit out of practice.
Hopefully, I can get a good batch of ammo before then, and see if I can keep up with the pack.

Hi NH , Snipewench might pick some up for you , if you ask her nicely. :) Do you have to pre register for the IRB only or just turn up ? Its Belmont up in Newcastle correct ? I could proberly stay at my brothers if it is. Cheers Ron

Hi hear rumors that Snipewench is not shooting, With the TRA nationals the weekend before plenty of shooters have had to choose just 1 comp.

Ron, I might have the range name wrong, but the comp is at the SSAA Range Brisbane, I would recomend pre nomination, but doubt it will sell out.

Native, I can ask a couple of the Sydney guys when I talk to them next, what ammo do you need.

I'm not going up to Brissy for the IRB Nats. I decided that, as I won my first ever selection to the NSW team in my own right, and lead the team to boot, I'd head on down to the TRA Nationals in Geelong and compete. It was either that or the IRB Nats in Brisbane.

It'd be possible to do both, as the benchrest program at the TRA Nats concludes a few days earlier, it'd be possible to get to Brisbane, but then I'd be driving something like 4000k's by myself - no thanks.

Not sure how the locals/forum members are fairing today but as of yesterday Mr Tallar was giving lessons on how to shoot an IRB target, dropped five shots for a score of 745..............................I am unsure of the dot count.
