Expensive Leak !
Lastnight i took a trip out to St Marys indoor to sight in my 308 Styer after having mounting a custom picatinny rail. This was the 1st time shooting this rifle and i was well pleased with my $1100 investment it shot just as well as my mates more expensive Barnard. After we had finished shooting we went and sat in the shop have a coke and a chat etc. I had to go take a leak , so i said to matt mind the gear il be back shortly. Well a few weeks back i got stung having a piss, by a parking officer $205 and i thought to myself wow that was costly. Well that was nothing to the one i took a few minutes earlier. As i was walking out of the mens room i passed by the notice board and they had the usually bits and bobs for sale, nothing of interest to me. So i walked along the glass cabinets that hold all of the latest and gratest from all the popular manufactures. But as i walk passed my favorite the Remington window i noticed one particlar rifle had a scope allready mounted on it. At closer inspection i also noticed it was a .22lr and even closer inspection a 504t Laminated stock and heavy barrel , just what ive been chasing for a while now. The price was $1333 but after my discount i picked it up for $1200 2nd hand with a Leupold vxII 3-9 X 40 scope, i couldnt be any happier, but my master card isnt happy. Cheers Ron

Can I be the first one to have a shot? Pretty please *jumps up and down excitedly*
Looks awesome, Ron! Is it a bunny gun, or the makings of a project bench gun?

Re: Expensive Leak !
Hi SW , Where were you on friday night ? You could have owned it and saved my $1200 ! Its way to heavy for HC and its NOT gonna keep up with your FWB. So it will be a safe queen and will get shot every now and then when i get bored shooting one of the other 8 or so .22lrs, i do say 8 or so as i CANT HELP myself . When i get a Rem 40xb my collection will be complete,MAYBE . Cheers Ron
