It is extremely pleasing to be able to announce that David and Cathy Gifford, the new proprietors of R&J Sport Goods have offered to provide :-
1000 30 cal 155grain HBC projectiles
to the yearly aggregate winner of the 308/223 category in our International 1000yd BR Postal Matches with the USA.
Thankyou David and Cathy for the very generous support of Australian LRBR.
Naturally, all 308/223 competitors will also be eligible and included in the overall Annual Australian Postal Championship results for the Light gun and Heavy gun classes.
Additional appreciation and thanks are extended to Matt Paroz and Jeff Rogers for suggesting and organising the sponsorship of this new competition category for our Postal Matches.
Cheers gents
Organisational Changes for the 2011 1000yd BR Postal Matches.
In view of the recent changes and additions to the competition categories, and as an aid to result compilations,it would be appreciated if in future, that, participating clubs could indicate the calibres used by competitors when they publicise or display results.
For competitors, who shoot at clubs who do not regularly publish or provide match results, it would be appreciated if individual competitors (at these venues) who wish to be included in the International Postal Match Individual and Team aggregates could send their results & calibre designation directly to me via :-
dg1048@yahoo.com.au
Unfortunately, increased postal and printing costs have resulted in the cessation of Certificates for Australian 1000yd BR Postal participants.
However “Smileys” will continue to be provided and awarded to all deserving and highly talented 1000yd BR competitors who are able to achieve this superb standard of LRBR markmanship.
Cheers
