Re: Which 20 Cal
Got an interesting email today... MAB after a couple of months of not hearing from them and me assuming that they must have misplaced my order and I had sorted out another barrel, I now have a heavy forrester profile 20 cal 1:10 twist barrel waiting for me to pay for... Malcolm it could be the start of an interesting project if you need a barrel........

Re: Which 20 Cal
just imagine how fast you could shoot 40gr projies in a 20x47.... they would be smoking. I have been told i wont be able to crank up the 40gr fast due to my twist, if i do they will most likely not take the rpm's.MISSED wrote: 20x47 noooooooo.

Re: Which 20 Cal
a 20br, dasher or titan would be my choice. Probably Dasher. Enough powder to get 50 and 55gn pills smoking with out going too overbore.
If you already have a 223 sized bolt face the JAB 20 goes as fast as the 204 with 3gns less powder. Cases formed with one pass through a FLDie.
The 204 is, of course, the best choice varminter in a factory configuration.
Ok gents, you happy now

Re: Which 20 Cal
But what happened to the original
No 20x47L for me my 1-10 will stabilise the 50 Bergers I think I will stay with my own proven formula of 40 grn V-Max and BM2.The sako will be a 6x47L one day
