Searching on this forum will tell you that Optical Restorers in Brisbane is the way to go.

Chris,

Can you please elaborate on your statement that Steve is SOL? I too have a Weaver T36 that needs repair (one end of the horizontal crosshairs has broken off the glass, and hangs loosely. Scope is still shooting POA though...

I know of Tasco at Kogarah (?) who may repair it, and Ron Goulding gave me a number to try ringing too.

Unlikely Malcolm will touch it but it's worth a shot
He tends to work on high end stuff rather than run of the mill.

He did a very good job of fixing up my old Weaver T16 (Steel Tube from ElPaso Texas).

As he did my 3X Leupy Alaskan but he took some convincing when it wasn't a high end euro scope.

I was refering to the fact that most can not.......or possibly will not do a fine cross hair repair,I would be glad to be proved otherwise cause I have a couple that need fixing.
Edit to add.
I had a mate who purchased a T6 weaver from Cleavers less than six months ago and the cross hair broke, wasd told that it was a discontinued model and couldn't be fixed so from that the factory dont even fix them.

Regards Chris.
