I run a Hall, Right bolt left port, Lilja 0.85" barrel with homemade tunner. Fitted to a homemade stock and run Lapua ammo either X-act or M+ depending on Lot.
I use a Edgley / Lambert joystick rest with Proctor front and rear bags.
I use Elliot flags and my own wind probes.
The barrel has about 3000 rounds through it now and is still improving. I have a broughton Barrel going on over summer to train with and give me a second option running into World titles in the USA next year. I am also considering upgrading the stock to a "BigStick" stock over the summer.

Last night I had another shoot at Sutherland, shooting prone with my Anschutz 1907 target rifle.

First detail I scored a 197/200. Dave Clifton also scored a 197, and gets his name on the board this time 'round as I dropped a point on my last target. I shot this with Eley Black 1057 speed ammo, with some really nice groups.

The second detail I decided to shoot using the Eley Team (blue packets) 1057 speed ammo, and also to shoot as quickly as I could.

Five shots into the sighter target showed the Eley Team was off to the right, so a few clicks left, and it was on target.

I shifted position to the first target, checked my natural point of aim, fired, looked through the scope and noticed I'd scored a bull, went "right, this is it!", and shot the next four shots without looking through the scope. After my last shot on that target, I looked through the scope and noticed it was a night tight cloverleaf and 50points.

I did this for the next three targets, scoping the first shot, and then racking through the remaining four without looking through the scope.

In the end, I'd scored my first ever perfect prone 200 score, with 12 centres.

The cool thing was that I'd shot it in about 10 minutes and 30 seconds. For the uninitiated, the time allowed for these cards is 30 minutes.

Now all I need to do is shoot this score in competition!
