I agree I reeckon there might be a typo there as I get 3785fps (average for 10 shots 24fps ES) from 27.8gn of 2206H pushing 39gn BK's. The best 5 shot group was .366" @ 200yrds (actually metres but I cant think of group sizes in mm). The average group size is currently sitting at .589" @ 200 for a total of 35 shots. I have yet to play with seating depth and I need to take the expander ball out of the sizing die (thanks for that tip trevort).

I would be carefull when loading heavier than that as 28gns of 2206H as this is the Max load recomended. A tight custom action (like trevort's) might handle more but there are no guarantees that any other rifle can take it.

Chasing velocity at all costs out of the 204 is a bit pointless really as its quick enough. You want to find the most accurate load.

Sorry, no error, 3950 fps. With 29 grains of 2208 I was getting 3850. Both are with the 39 bk.

Actually the query was right your original post said 2950, it seemed a tad slow

.....The chronograph showed 2950 fps which has been confirmed with 2 other chronographs.....
