Re: Bipods
John,
Get a Harris S Series in your choice of heights and legs.
I use the S series 6-9" notched legs when i shoot f class, a s series 9-12" i use when shooting from a bench and a non swivel 9-12" i have as a spare. I have tried the cheaper one but they are no where as good.

Re: Bipods
Who are TOZ? I googled it but no joy. I need a Harris bipod. $100 sounds good with the strong Aussie at the mo.

When you said TOZ, I straight away thought "Russian rifles"Josh_WA wrote:
You can get a brand new one cheaper than that from the US. TOZ have them for about $100 USD.
Cheers
Having looked at that link though, there is some interesting stuff there, are they good to deal with ?
I take it you give them a thumbs up Jason, If they are ok, I'll have a closer look.

Re: Bipods
I have only purchased from them once - the transaction went smoothly and I had my order in a week. They are a sponsor over on AHN and there are lots of positive reports there.

Re: Bipods
thanks for the link. They have these bipods listed under Harris Accessories. Do you reckon they are genuine Harris at those prices?

Edit: I've sent them an email to find out.

Yep, they are genuine. Amazing to realise the mark up on this stuff locally isn't it.

Re: Bipods
Yep, they got back to me in about 15 minutes! They are genuine and postage to Oz is $35. No export permit required.
I just need to decide whether I need a swivel (S) model or not.
Also, there seems to be two types of legs. The Series 1 which has the original leg notches and a newer Series M which also seems to have notches plus a spring to extend the legs. They are the same price, so I'm guessing the M series replaces the series 1 and any series 1 bipods for sale are old stock. can anyone shed any light on this?
