Top quality windage rest.?????

Post by native hunter »

G"day All
Where can I get a top quality rest similiar to the JJ rest from the states in OZ.??
I know I could import one of these but the cost is over the top.
Any ideas on something similiar here in oz that I dont have to wait till eternity to get or sell a kidney for.??

Mate if you want a windage rest only and not a joystick rest then the ones that Barry Edgley make are excellent rests and Im not sure what sort of dollars they are now but they were around the $700-$750 eighteen months ago.

Word has it Paul Read (chopper01) is developing a rack and pinion type windage top with rear adjust (not on the side like others) to go on the all s/s rest he makes and should fit up to other rests as well . i am waiting for him to send me the 1st one for testing should be a good jigger by the sound of it . PS this could be a trade secret so keep it to your self. Ratshot......

G"Day All
I have been offered a complete windage bald eagle rest with front and rear bald eagle bags for $500, does this sound about the right money.??
Im using a caldwell rock rest at the moment with protektor front and rear bags.!!
I looked at it today and it seems to be very good,I will use it a few times and see what happens.
Anyone heard of or used one of these.??
