Spotlighting rifle, what are you guys using?

Im using a Rem 788 223 with Lothar Walther heavy profile tube, bushnell 4-12*40 scope, usually set on 6-8 power. I want to change the stock to a thumbhole but everything else is good. Shoots good out to 300 and thats good enough for anything I wanna hit

I use a CZ527 .223 with a fixed 8x40 tasco.
Also use 17 hmr, .22lr and 12g when it warrants them.

I don't own it yet, but for what I'm doing most of at the moment I'm thinking a Tikka T3 lite in 243 Win with my M8 Leupold 6 X 42 is the way to go.

This would let me step up to goats and pigs, which we occasionally see in the spot light.
