Took less than a week and he has completely changed his mind and bought at T3 Varmint.

update!
Went in to the LGS this morning and ordered a Ruger M77 VT? Tikkas felt to cheap for me, the ruger has lots of steel
It was a close call between the ruger and the CZ but the Ruger won out due to having a heavier barrel and because ive got a ruger already and quite like it. Hope I made the right choice, we shall find out.
However Richta pm'ed me some pics of his CZ 527 and its made me want one, So I may start saving again for one in .222? damn

Will post pics once I get it.

Yeah tikkas do feel like they are not as good as some others but that dissapears when you see how accurate they are. Only rifed a couple of rugers and it was that long ago I can't remember what they were like. Sure you will be happy

Went in today to check on the progress and they said it should come in today and should get the PTA tomorrow (hopefully) so should be able to pick it up before this weekend in which case i shall hit the range on Sunday.
Also bought some ammo for it today, damn it aint cheap  I reload for my .223 but it works out pretty much the same or even a little more but i get better accuracy. This tho may need to be reloaded for, cause once again damn.
Bought a box of
Winch Super X 34gn JHP lubalox
Winch Supreme 32gn Ballistic silvertip
Remington Premier Accutip 40gn Accutip-V B.Tail
Federal Premium 39gn Sierra Blitzking
Total cost$153
Should give me a reasonable idea of what bullet weight it likes.

For my first .20cal it has so far given me a good impression. lets hope it continues on the range :)

Good choice, my eldest son has a .204 Ruger VT to match mine in .223, both shoot really well. Reload for it as well Ryan, the 39 grain Sierra's, Rem 7 1/2 primers and 2206H work a treat in son's rifle.

FINALLY!!
After almost a week more then i expected my rifle arrived. Went down today to make sure they had put my PTA thru as I started to fear that they hadnt, and low and behold It HAD come thru as well they also received the rifle. So 30mins later I was driving home with my new Ruger M77 Mark II.
Unfortunatly as I decided to save some money and use a scope I had lying around waiting for a rifle that I will probably order late next year, I required some 30mm rings instead of the 1" that came with the ruger, which they didnt have in stock. Though tomorrow (or today i should say) they should hopefully have them express shipped in.
Heres a pic of my new toy with the scope i shall use for now.
Hopefully i can get to Little River on satday to run her in if the weather is not to shit or if im not workin.

The weatherman screwed me up today. All week I watched the forecast for satday get worse and worse and when friday night came I decided to cancel and drink some free beer, which meant a decent sleep in. Woke up this morning and it was NOT windy and raining that I thought it was. SO going tomorrow Rain, hail or shine.

well havent been on for a while. Hit more snags. I ordered some high 30mm rings to fit the scope after I bought the rifle and when they failed to arrive week after week i said to hell with it and got some Very High rings. I took it too the range about a week or two ago when there was some awesome weather. I ended up going home early because the range was as busy as ive ever seen it, there ended up being a waiting list for benches and 20min ceasefires. I was unfortunate enough to score a bench next to a 338Win Mag with a muzzle brake who fired way to often :x ( if the heat mirage come off his barrel suggested) When they left I got another group on the other side who brought out their 45-70 and rapid fired it as fast as they could work the lever. Which I could handle (barely) if I didnt start getting .45cal holes in my .223 load tests  ( apparently he forgot his glasses) I had had enough and went home. That is why I hate going to the range in the end its a 3 hour round trip for nothing really constructive.

However I got off 19 rounds :) running it in though I found the scope way to high to get a comfortable cheak weld. So now I have taken the scope off and replaced it with a cheaper 40mm obj scope which i have yet to sight in. But The few shots I had felt promising and am looking more forward to gettin back out there.

I am now selling the big scope to pay some money back some money I owe and buy a new .22lr ( I sold my first a couple years ago)

soon as I get some good groups i shall post.

   that's hilarious Ryan, you should have used the other guy's target in revenge, but he probably wouldn't have noticed without his glasses.....
