i am interested in setting up ft range on my property and would like to get some more inforation about what is invloved, is it just silouette targets set up at different ranges and angles?

i know that i will get bored shooting set targets on a static shooting range and am looking for variety to keep up my interest and for the challenge

Astro,
I think FT involves steel targets at any range/degree of cover out to 40 or 50m that have a "kill zone" on them that when hit triggers the whole target to fall over... so unlike Silhouette where a hit anywhere that causes the animal to fall (hopefully! :lol: ) scores, in FT only punching a pellet throught the target zone counts.
This is to the best of my knowledge anyhow. I bet you will be able to Google up much more accurate info than what i've offered :wink:

One the guys in Qeensland has been making some targets, I know FOBIS (Con) has some photos of them, maybe he can post them so you can have a look at them. They are easy to make and it would not be hard to set up a range at home as long as you had the space.
