A nice Tuna

Last Friday I hooked this Longtail Tuna when I was nearly back at the boat ramp, after a couple of hours of unproductive trolling. Having pretty much given up hope of catching anything, I was pretty surprised when my deep diver got nailed by something that took about half the 15kg line off my TLD 15. Normally around here we get these guys up to 6-8kg, and the current NT record is 11kg. I hadn't bothered to renew my membership of the GFAA affiliated club here, or find out beforehand what the current record is so I missed my chance to set a new NT record...I'm still pretty stoked about it
