Well yes, whilst our own member Bruce is still kicking - this is an unusual one:
The Australian cultivar "Bruce" chilli.
It took 10 seeds to get one to this point, ok really would have only been 9 but for an enthusiastic 5 year old micro manager of all things gardening.
A hard chilli to propagate, but I am looking forward to the chillies from him.
Thanks Rabbitz for the initial seeds.

Nice work.
We have not been successful this season as the weather has not been kind, although after setting panic fruit, last years plants has set a small crop. At least we will have fresh sees for next year.

Curiously, the hippy seed bruce are red. This cultivar are yellow. I wonder what the difference really is?

And no doubt your mother also mentioned "Bloody hard to get to grow up".
Dont worry original Bruce - he/she/it is in good hands, currently have 9 chilli plants on the go
