I have a cheap Chinese genset which stopped producing juice after 3 hours of running. Found a loose wire but I assume it caused something to toast (no burnt stuff, smell or anything). Yep, it's a cheap genset BUT as it's only got 3 hours run time on it then it couldn't hurt to look at fixing it. My guess is the little black box of potted parts is dead (Digital Volt Reg - supposedly).
Any electrical gurus here willing to take a look at it for me? Willing to compensate.

Wouldn't have tripped a circuit breaker or fuse? Did you get any warranty when you purchased it?
That was my thought but it doesn't seem that simple. I found 4 pin plug with a loose earth pin or more correctly an improperly assembled connector. It must have had some contact but obviously lost it...hence I think it's a little black box that need replacing.
I can't get any voltage out of any of the outlets: 12VDC, 240VAC, 415VAC. Engine runs nicely though (Honda copy)
No warranty. Bought it years ago off eBay, chased the importer for some spare parts but they ignored me.
