Hey all, at the beginning of May I'm taking my wife to Port Douglas for her 30th. I'd really like to spend half a day one of the days fishing for barra. Happy to pay a charter of some sort or meet up with an AV member for a morning or arvo' fishing.
Any suggestions would be welcome!

I'm envious too Keith. There's a good sushi place in the middle of town. Enjoy mate!

Its a beaut spot missus and i were there bc...before children.
Did a barra fish day up the river there. I did hook something large but broke the line etc. Was a big hit. This was in August if i remember. Might better fish season when your up there.
Don't know if it is still there but the bird sanctuary was pretty bloody impressive.
Also trips up daintree a must!
