What a day in east gippy

boat went real good sat on 53 kph on the way down thats just under the rev limiter

and sat on 46 kph on the way home and used 14lt for 69 kilometers so next time i will

hit the reef and give it a solid go , and so far that looks like next monday but i wont

hold my breath

nothing just a shake down for the boat plus i was on my own so just a quick cruise

down the beach looking for salmon and there was none . :(

how many offset rod holders does she have on the rear ?
a decent sized rod/reel and a big popper will get some big fish on the troll :wink:

unfortunately the boat that takes salmon for the cat food market has been giving the place a flogging

they use a purse net about 4ks long and run it over the bar along the beach and then pull it back out

nothing gets out so they are small schools and a lot of water in between :(

camel what you can't see in the bass strait shot is the 6 trawlers in between the 4 & 6 mile reef but i have some GPS marks from years ago

that a mate tells me are fishing very well ATM so with any luck i will have some fish next week :lol:
