My new ute

Hi fellas,

I couldn't resist and went and got a 2005 BA TRV ute. Why? I just wanted a ute again, and the ground clearance on these is good, and it has a locker diff, so I reckon it will be handy. Plus I reckon it will tow our little caravan quite nicely. It's got the dual battery, ally bull bar, long range tank and an ally tray, with about 180k on the clock. Paint, panels and interior are clean.

And I know it's too late, coz I've already bought it, but what should I watch out for on these? Any particular problems with this model?
I already know that a $1k diff rebuild is on the horizon when it gets noisier (this was known at the time of sale, and factored into the price).

Anyway, I'll appreciate any feedback........

Thanks, curan

Good stuff mate! It will do 90% of what a shooter wants it to do. Especially if you get some tyres that can handle a bit of offroading.

And at a hell of a lot cheaper than my new Ute too!

They are a good truck mate. We used to have one at work and the diff lock came in handy working onsite.

Enjoy.
