Just looking at the dunny seat, are you sure that the scorch marks are really from the fire, not last years jerky ??

Re: Jerky time
I forgot all about this thread.
Quick round up of Gnome's jerky,
The goat one was pretty good, little bit of a burn, but not as much as I was expecting. Slight burn that didn't need drowning to cool down.
Beef one was pretty good as well.
I went back for seconds on both, and so did most others I saw, so that's got to be a pretty good recommendation.
They were both plenty chewey enough, had great taste and after taste, and were a hell of a lot better than I expected. Good effort little round man, very nice indeed and I didn't notice anyone screaming in agony from the dunny the next morning.

Re: Jerky time
Bloody fantastic, I reckon I ate well more than my share. Good amount of heat in the spicy goat one if I was sitting down with a few beers I would even go a bit spicier.
Gonna have to try and make my own one of these days.
Maybe we should all have a jerky off for the next AV athon - no wait that sounds really bad

Does the flannelette have to be the checkered kind or can I bring the plain white stuff I buy from spotlight for stroking the bore of my gun
