How far out do you head in your kayak, I know I would rather head out in my boat for the places I tend to fish. Good fish anyway, I have only fished for barra and sooties from a kayak so I would imagine the tuna would be great fun.

nice fish astro well done. fishing from a kayak looks like a good bit of fun. but with sharks like that around I would rather be in a boat, although I would still shit myself if I saw that out there
cheers

mate i hooked that tuna about 25 metres off the rocks....took me a bout a 1 k out,

hook it on my 4-7kg flick stick.......took an hour to get in.......

the finger mark hooked on a deep diver 10 metres from some cliffs

i have been 3 ks off shore.....sharks aren't a problem....actually looking forward to seeing a decent one, one day...but crocs are another story....

You have no idea how jealous I am of you,I am mainly a rockhopper and do it tough most of the time to get a decent feed, release most of the fish even the jewies, blokes fishing near me reckon there is something wrong, why would you let it go,so maybe one day you might catch it is my reply.

Regards Chris.
