Do we have any qualified sparkies here that can provide advice?
I have a Gen Power 4000i generator with 3x240V outlets rated at 1200W each AND also a 3 phase outlet rated at 20A.

1. Noting the low rating of the 240V outlets would a 3 phase to single converter be suitable when I need to draw 2400W or more? I believe so but am not a sparky and don't know what black magic generators may utilise.
2. Assuming the 3 phase output is correct at 20A, what's the approximate safe Amps I could draw at 240V? I assume conversion incurs some loss. This will help me know whether a 240V 15A converter is feasible.
Finally, I've spotted some Australian made converters that look fine but am looking for credible advice on whether such a gizmo is generator suitable AND what I can realistically draw in Amps.
Looking at this one or similar https://www.electrotraders.com.au/3-pha ... 20a-socket

Re: Need sparky advice on a generator
Still haven't made the plunge despite a recent meltdown at the fusebox (since upgraded).
Considering a 15A 240V outlet conversion which should suit all my needs. I now know the generator will support a specified 2600W output.
