Has anyone bought or used the Titan Ute Drawers from 4WD Supa Centre?
Any comments - good or bad?
At under $500 they seem very cheap, but are they just that?

Re: Titan Ute Drawers
I had a set of Outback draws in a Patrol wagon loved them solid reliable etc
But the price is ARB
I looked at a set of Titan draws liked and bought a set.Well made and lockable with and awesome fridge slide
The downside to me is that they are too narrow and not really high enough.
But for $500 delivered with wings I am reasonably happy with them

Re: Titan Ute Drawers
Thanks Missed.
I looked at the Outback and MSA(?) drawers from ARB and they look fantastic but at upwards of 2 grand they ought to be
The outback ones do have a brilliant option - a slide out stainless work top.
Although I am thinking that a "RAF" modification of the Titan fridge slide might work. I am thinking of putting in a drop down fridge slide so the flat one would be redundant.

Re: Titan Ute Drawers
I've been looking at different ideas for the rear fitout and what is obvious is that I couldn't build a set of drawers for less than the Titan drawers, just the slides, fittings and plywood would be more than the $450ish for the drawer set.
I am toying with the idea of not fitting drawers, per se, but fitting a pair of slide out panels at the level of the floor of the tub. A bit like a pair of oversized fridge slides with 25mm or 50mm sides that can be used to attach load straps (and the slide mechanisms. Then plastic tubs/fridge/toolboxes can be strapped down and arranged as required but they can be slid out for ease of access.
This also leaves more room inside the canopy for loading bigger items for transport.
Has anyone tried using drawer slide mechanisms on their sides? The idea being that they would attach to the bottom of the sliding platform rather than the side to lower the overall profile.

Re: Titan Ute Drawers
Have a look at UCA (ute Canopies Australia) They have a broad range of different tub arrangements as far as single wide pull out floors to multi draws etc
