I went to Kangaroo Island fishing with 5 blokes from Canberra. We did 4.5 days with Emu Bay Fishing Charters got 105 whiting & 35 snapper 1 blue-fin tuna. Had a top time with Sean the skipper who did all he could to get us on the fish, top bloke shown with the 83cm snapper.
Best session was or limit of 1 each snapper over 600 in 15 minutes .

Sounds like you'll be on a fish diet for a while.
Excellent haul, must have been a blast.

Re: Kangaroo Island Fishing
Your dreaming if you think any will last till September. The skipper gave me a small frozen lobster which will go this weekend.
In the middle pic the bloke on the end in the blue shirt is holding a meter + of whiting. Last days catch.

Re: Kangaroo Island Fishing
well done daisy , I love fishing . I fish bass strait . I in fact I go up to 9 nautical miles off lakes entrance
and at times I go 11 nautical miles (20km) and yes in a 4.3 mtr tinny with a 40HP HONDA ....
the locals think I am a nut case but the way I see it is .... stay home or live
and to the victor go the spoils

Re: Kangaroo Island Fishing
I don't think I could go out that wide Tack. I'm prone to seasickness. We had it good at KI. The half day was the first day we came in early as there was a fair bit of swell . I had taken enough Travacalm not to get sick.
Nice snapper there.
