Made our annual trip to Albury for Easter. My SIL had organised for a fishing-mad friend of hers to take us out to find some trout; we ended up spending some time floating grasshoppers through the riffles and pools on the upper Kiewa River west branch.
TLP caught her first trout:
Beautiful spot. I think next year I will return with waders and some lighter gear, and explore some nice looking holes that show up further downstream on the aerial photos.

I'm jealous, again.
I need to find time to get down that way and take up some of the opportunities that have been offered by some very good folk on this forum.

Great day for mate, its a wonderful area.
We keep looking for nice lifestyle place up there but just out of our price range
Tyring to convince the missus we need to sell our 10 acres down and have money in the bank whilst living up at the hideaway until something comes up
