3 out of 4 ain't bad
Hi all, as some of you may be aware, I went up to Darwin to get away from the cold for a while! Enjoyed the bird life of the non-feathered variety, plenty of drinks, plenty of fishing. Had probably the best purple patch of fishing in my life, landed 3 Barra in 4 casts, then caught 2 more in the next 6 casts, lost 2. Nothing of massive size. Biggest was about 76 cm. also thrown in a few other photos from Litchfield national park.

I know what you mean LR. I'm near Taroom at the moment, and it's a bit crisp!LoneRider wrote:very nice mate, wish i was there with yas..

Cheers fellas, it was certainly a brisk wakeup call getting off the plane in Melbourne, and coming back to a wet and miserable home haha. It has been far too wet to get around the farm mostly, just starting to now! I have been chasing the cod in the meantime, to no big success though, winter is pretty slim pickings, but if you do catch, generally its a decent fish.
