Jerky time

Everything that is outdoors and not hunting or shooting. Talk about fishing, 4wd, archery, camping, motorbike riding etc etc.

To add a bit more to the temps/times I have been monitoring this lot today and have moved the bottom 2 trays to the top as they were showing more signs of drying out faster than the top ones, so that may help as well. Also have been moving the temps between 55-65 (mostly sitting on 60) during this time and that too seems to be aiding the drying process.

If it lasts a week till Yass it is no good ! 5 blokes at work will eat 5kg worth of meat dried out in a day , plenty of tears and farts!

Yep not happy. Instead of heading round to Gnomes place for some drinking, reloading and eating jerky the crazy fat lady I live with - umm I mean my lovely pregnant wife :twisted: has me at home with the kids while she goes out tonight :roll:

Single cab ute at the moment, although Gnome is literally round the corner so I could probably just throw them on the back and tell them to hang on and I could get away with it. I Did head round once the misses got home.
