Kickin tikka trigger

Post by Brad Y »

Honestly I never realised a tikka trigger could be so good. Awesome work mate! Had the boys at he shop drooling. No way we could get it to slam fire. And lighter than anything they could get adjusted. I didn’t tell them it could go lower in case your swamped with triggers ans my next one takes too long to do...

Cheers bloke

Your a slow learner then Brad - those of us with them have been bragging for a while.
I must be honest though - you dont realise "how good" until they are in your hands.

Not from you Glen. This one is attached to a rifle that was offered to me at one of those too cheap to pass up prices

Don’t say stuff like that. Mark might change his mind, he hasn’t handed it over yet

Glen, I will send the other one over soon as the rifle I’m working on is ready. In the mean time I’ve swapped it over with the one on my 223 so I have a real nice trigger for shooting ferals. When the original action gets bedded and barrel installed for the target gun then you will see the trigger. No need until then.

Never worried about it before, but for f class and fly, this trigger I think will be a big improvement.

Now got to try and find somewhere that makes single shot loading ramps that I can glue into the action so we can get inletting and bedding done.

Glen,

Let me know what I need to do to get my triggers done as I'm not sure if the triggers can be easily removed (by me).

Ruger M77 Predator (same as the VT)
Browning X-Bolt

I've been delaying it for too long, awaiting improvements on the bank balance...

I make them. $35 incl postage. They don’t need to be glued in. The piece of spring steel that sits under the head of the trigger screw holds it in.

I’ve taken the spring steel off as I won’t be running the mag. Want to glue in with some devcon steel putty to help stiffen the action further in the mag cutout. Might have a bloke who makes nylon ones locally, will give you a yell if I can’t get it sorted tho mate!
