Rough cut outs, only used three grinder blades

Reckon I will need a new stone on the bench grinder by the time they are at the handle stage

Great work

Could you fit mine up with a mallee handle and don’t worry about polishing it up to much

His neighbour said "He was a quiet sort of bloke, kept to himself mostly, the whole town is shocked and can't believe he'd do such a thing".

Police enquiries are continuing.

Jeez, some of you fellas have a sense of humour, who would have guessed that.

Those two are already spoken for, will try do some more after new year if there is enough interest and of course $ signs put before my eyes.

Trev, they are hardened steel, no need to heat treat them, I will be only grinding and filing gently so shouldnt stuff up the hardness.

Yeah they would, the one I traced around is my old one, handle is grippy enough without the grooves.

Will be doing some more tomorrow. :D

There’s no hole to fit them to the circular saw.

They’ll need the right sized hole to fit my Worx tools

Done a bit more this morning Image

Sanded back the light surface rust with 120 grit paper stuck to a bit of 25x50 steel tube, not going to remove the stain just the rust itself, gives it a nice patina.

Image

Locked up tight in a jig I made to hold knife blades locked when I am using a file.

Image

No heat generated using a mill bastard flat file.

Image

Still magnetic

Image

Piling up the filings, just wish I could get a new decent file around here, hardware only has Indonesian or Indian made shitImage
