Shortened stock for a junior

My eldest is mature enough to have a shot under close supervision now but he was really struggling using a full size stock. Camel sold me one of his spare stocks and I set to it with a saw. It's defiantly diy standard but I should do the job. He can't wait to get out and give it a go now.

Ain't nothing wrong with that and when older a couple dowels and you can make it an adjustable one :)

Good to see the old stock getting used again. Hope your young fella appreciates the work involved. :D

There isn't much camel owns/owned that can't be improved with a drop saw

Had this out through the week, he is very happy with it and it seems to fit him well. I had to tape a rolled up teatowel around the butt to raise his head to line up with the scope, I might look into a more permanent solution for that.

Started off with tin cans, they were too easy so we moved on to empty 12g cases.

That's the way :D

Bet he was happy with his shooting prowess on the shotty shells.
