Ain't nothing wrong with that and when older a couple dowels and you can make it an adjustable one

Had this out through the week, he is very happy with it and it seems to fit him well. I had to tape a rolled up teatowel around the butt to raise his head to line up with the scope, I might look into a more permanent solution for that.
Started off with tin cans, they were too easy so we moved on to empty 12g cases.

Bet he was happy with his shooting prowess on the shotty shells.
