Mate asked me to assist him in placing a Powabeam 11" through roof fold up handle. Image

Yeah yeah I know we used checkerplate but that was all we have and what he wanted to reinforce the roof.

I like the look of the friction ring made out of aluminum, much more durable than the molded plastic on my Lightforce !!

Same system that I have in my work ute, he wont be sorry, best thing I ever did putting one of them through the roof, no more cold fingers in winter, and the bonus of folding them up out of the way is great. I use mine fairly loose when looking around, a quick twist of the locking ring and the light is nice and firm when taking a shot. Good bit of gear eh. Only thing I did differently was I didn't reinforce the roof, but I only run a 7 inch light and haven't noticed any movement in the roof yet, its been in there a couple of years now. :D nice job.
