With all the posts of guys making stocks of late i decided to do it my way, i sent Ken an email and a few weeks later i had this:
I'm happy to give it a light sand a few coats but you can stick the major timber work.

Very nice. I wouldn't even know where to start making one, and would probably drive myself crazy trying.
Should I know who Ken is? Does he have a website or equivalent? Enquiring minds would like to know.
EDIT: OK, figured it out myself. Well, Google helped.

Still can't find a website.

Ken Noye, he doesnt have a website but has an email address:
kenn.noye@gmail.com. i'm not sure if i can post his number as its his home one.
He has quite a few patterns and lots of inlets, he is more into target style stocks can can do them all. He made them for ProCal so all of the rifles that peter put on used guns with laminated stocks when he was clearing out were made by Ken. I have 3 of them to date and like they way they are finished.

Thanks mate. As much as I'd like some fancy stocks it's more of window shopping at this point.

This is the last one i got from him
All i have to do now is throw it in the mill and clean up the bedding. The problem is i need to put a block under the vice to get the stock level in it but i hate the idea of having to square it up the vice so i've been putting it off. Now I have a second stock to do soon so it wont be too far off.

here it it with a 22" barrel, i don't think it would look good if the barrel was much longer and the flip side is with a 16-18" barrel it would be very sexy.

I'm not sure if I got a discount being a dealer so it's safer to ask him.
