Bit more work there yet missed - in those top few photos the stock is still much, much darker than in the photo on the screen.

Looking good in the bottom photos. Have you got all the copper out of that barrel yet?

I see the legal help booklet - you are seriously pissed over this last rifle purchase eh?

Well I will be forever grateful to the blokes that donated towards the Howa but the truth is I did not like it,could not get it to shoot and it was obnoxiously loud.It sat in my safe untouched for nearly nine months with no scope on it an I had no desire to scope it or use it.Even With the problems with this rifle I will sort it out and the couple of shots I have had out of it it shows a lot more promise than the Howa did.And that was after fixing a couple of issues I had with that.

Hindsight is 20/20. The bloke got shafted wasn't as advertised and I would be pissed off too as would you.

Damn straight he got shafted. I saw the pics and read the description. One doesn't match the other in any way.

Well Andrew you must be starting to get a bit pleased with the finish on the stock now, certainly looks better than it did when you got it. Have you got to the stage of using 10,000 grit paper yet, by my reckoning with 5 rubs back with every grade from 1000 to 10,000, it should be finished by the year 2020.

The Magbox is in Wagga and it will be picked up later today and delivered to my door in the early hours tomorrow.
