Re: CZ 465 with double triggers - conversion to single trigg
I have seen a couple of threads on Saubier about this topic mate, also when I asked on here some years ago, I was informed that some Timney Mauser 98 triggers could be made to fit. I don't know how or what modifications would need to be done to the lower trigger housing on them. Maybe just a matter of opening the trigger opening in the trigger housing and then a bit of dremel work to either thin down the ears on the trigger itself, or widening the gap inside to fit the trigger in.

I have been doing a lot of research on this but for my 527 with doubles.
A timney m98 will work bit you have to remove some of the trigger guard metal I have some pics I will put up later.

Thanks Camel & Stinkitup - very much appreciated. Seems it may not be mission impossible & bankroll breaking.

Bit of difference mate, yours isn't a ZKW465, you know, when Brno really knew how to build a proper rifle.

This is your sitting in the safe right?? Or is it in use yet Not that mine is copping much work latelyCamel wrote:Bit of difference mate, yours isn't a ZKW465, you know, when Brno really knew how to build a proper rifle.
Okay back on Track Barry
Of the two photos below the section in orange will need removing and all the trigger mech and the top hanger/sear part, I thought filing might work but a smith I contacted from Norway doing these said he mills them and some are very hard but appears to be very thin so think it still could be done here at home. I have checked mine against a m98 normal trigger thanks to camel, next is to pull my m96 swede trigger out and check them out a bit more. Need to pull everything out and make sure it hanges off the action with no changes required then if it is just this piece it would be easy.

I have a zkw 465 with a single trigger. It works a treat, I much prefer it to double set triggers.

Hey Steve, I remember some time ago you mentioned that, whats the chance of putting up a photo or two, similar to Ryan so we can have a look ? There seems to be a fair few interested.
