Just wondering if anyone's had luck adjusting the trigger on one of these?
Seems pretty heavy and I reckon if it was lighter it might tighten the groups up.

I have adjusted the trigger weight on my PH .243 - managed to get it down a bit, but still a little heavier than I would like. I also couldn't quite get all the creep out of it - from memory it interfered with the safety.
I was tooling around with the idea of replacing it with a Timney but then saw an ebay ad by the Trigger guy for PH triggers - the review by BFS was quite compelling. When the rifle gets back from the stockmaker I am going to send the trigger assembly away for some work.
I have the PH trigger adjustment instructions at home (I am up in Sydney for the week) if you need a copy.

Thanks Marcus if it's not too much trouble mate. I was thinking along the same lines with a Timney and after trolling ebay saw that same ad figured that maybe it would adjust up enough.
I had a bad experience dealing with that same fella a couple of years ago so I won't using his services out of principal.

I got one of the Timney sportsman 98 triggers a while ago to put onto an old mauseer action I have, $98 for it plus 10 bucks postage, think it came from Phoenix Arms or something like that. Value plus and easy to adjust with full instructions. May be an option for you.

There are also the BOLD triggers available from Boyds stocks. Order two of them (still under $100USD) and sell one when they arrive.
Not a varmit trigger, but work well as a hunting trigger. I think MISSED has my spare one at the moment - we were trying to work out what it would take to fit a m98 sporter trigger to an early Sako (not much is the answer).

Here y' go.
I fitted a Timney sportsman to my first Parker Hale .243 - it had the wing safety on the bolt shroud so the Sportsman was perfect. Really nice trigger and not very expensive.
