Sorry this may have been asked 1000 times, I have a synthetic stock I want to make camo , a fun project, what paint/ procedure?
Any help would be gold.

For a true camo job you really need to google hydrodip Australia.

For a home DIY job pull the stock off then give is a rub with some 400ish grid sandpaper to rough it up a bit. Spray on some 'plastic primer' and then go to town with a few neutral colours either using some templates cut out of masking tape or using some leaves and sticks from around the yard.
If you want it to really last hit it with a few coats of clear.

Should be able to find all you need in the paint cabinet at your local supercheap auto or bunnnings

Pretty much the same procedure as what bimbo states earlier with the only variation being the pattern added after the base colour coat has been applied x2 times. I sealed the .223 stock (black with white spider webbing stock) with a gloss spray on sealant and the gumleaf .25/06 stock with a matte as this is more of a stalk/walk around outfit. I've had a few requests to friends synthetic stocks in the near future so I look forward to expanding my knowledge!

The spider webbing one gets a few looks whenever people see me at the range or go away hunting with mates.

G'day Ben and welcome along, those stocks came out pretty good. Im a wood stock man myself, but can see the benefits of plastic.

Polly, I think Kickenback had a way of colouring a stock cammo, something to do with textas.

Thanks Gnome. I have a request to do a friends daughters stock with electric purple spider webbing on a lighter base colour so should come up good. Plus another mate wants electric green tiger stripes on a black base - and some how I have to fit some hunting in between the painting!
