Popping ANOTHER cherry here guys so forgive me for the possibly silly question

I have just collected my kickeze and it come with 2 massive screws, is more sensible to attempt fitting the pad with the original screw first? Given the holes line up I guess to avoid making the currrent holes larger?

I just did this myself. I'd use the screws that came with the rifle.

If they fit and will hold the pad on properly, use the originals, who knows down the track you may take it off again and stuff the holes somehow and need the bigger ones then. Just check and make sure the heads on the smaller ones don't pull through the holes in the pad.

Though i would just wrap this up incase others come up with the same thing.

The Kick Eze come with its own screws but as it turned out the Original screws worked perfectly and the exterior holes on the factory Tikka pad were a lot tighter then the after markets so i just pushed the original screws back on and fitting the new pad with them.

Good work. I always prefer to use the original screws unless there is a compelling reason to use the new/supplied ones.

Yeah logic told me it was worth a try... but as with when i started working on cars, sometimes asking can give you atleast a warning as what to look out for or not to do.

Last thing i wanted was to ruining the holes as its only a screw not a thread as such and end up having to fill and drill the holes etc
